There’s a New Coordinator in Town!
In this week’s featured interview, Chip and Amy got to know our new Assistants and HR Coordinator, Allison. While she’s new to the role, she’s actually been a member of the community as an MSW practicum student, a live-out assistant, and a friend for the last few years! Here’s what Chip and Amy learned about her:

What do you like about L'Arche?
So many smiles and so much laughter
Why did you take this job?
To be a part of the community in a different way, to learn about nonprofits, to listen to the assistants
What is your favorite type of candy?
Paydays, dark chocolate
What are your favorite things to do?
Go out to eat and go to concerts (before COVID); also spend time with family, especially my nieces and nephews
Where did you grow up?
Belleville and St. Louis
How did you hear about L'Arche?
Through SLU when I was looking for an internship
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
Speak every language
What was your favorite Halloween costume?
A bat
What TV show have you been watching?
A Handmaid's Tale
What's your favorite park?
Salt Lake Trail and Little Grand Canyon, which are both in Illinois
