Volunteer Work
As a nonprofit, L’Arche St. Louis relies on the faithful generosity of friends and community members. By volunteering your time, you play a key role in sustaining our impact in St. Louis.
Volunteer Work for Individuals
We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities, from one-off day tasks (scooping ice cream, distributing art supplies at a social event, etc.) to ongoing direct involvement with our community. Join our volunteer database via the form below and receive first word on upcoming needs. We will be in touch as opportunities to serve arise.
If you are looking for employment opportunities including international volunteering, please visit our Open Roles page.
Interested in long-term volunteering opportunities or board membership?
Individuals interested in working in a sustained capacity with our core members must apply through our HR department. Complete the form and indicate “ongoing” as your preference, along with a note or two about your qualifications for working with adults with intellectual disabilities. If there are such opportunities available, we will follow up directly and ask for your resume to begin the interview process.
Volunteer Work for Groups
L’Arche St. Louis welcomes schools, clubs, businesses, and educational groups for one-day community service opportunities.
