Chip Chats: Intern Clara
Chip was able to snag one last interview with a Summer Intern in August, before the season wrapped up. Clara shared time at St. James House this past Summer, and is a Spanish Major at St. Louis University. Read on to get a peek into her conversation with Chip!
How did you find out about L’Arche?
Through the Micah program at my school. I used to volunteer at L’Arche. I would come cook at Sunrise House.
What are your hobbies?
I like to paint and play the piano.
Do you have a favorite song to play?
I recently played Hometown Glory by Adele - that was fun.
Do you have any pets?
I have a dog named Coco, but she lives at home with my family in Chicago.
What is your favorite trip that you’ve been on?
When I would go to Boston as a kid growing up. We’d go whale watching!
What is your favorite color?
I like pink a lot.
What is your favorite restaurant?
A place in Chicago called Los Comales - they have the best shrimp tacos!
Have you gone on any trips recently?
I went with my boyfriend to New York.
Do you have any siblings?
Just one sister - she is younger than me.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Chocolate.
What is your favorite movie?
I like Spiderman movies.
