In this edition of Chip Chat, Chip sits down with another one of the 2023 Summer Interns. Spencer shared time at Sunrise House this past summer. He is a student at St. Louis University studying Health Administration and Public Health. Join Chip in learning about Spencer’s favorite things and how he found L’Arche!

What is your favorite trip you’ve been on?
A family trip to Europe!

What is your favorite restaurant?
Dos Reales Mexican Restaurant (in Overland Park, KS)

What is your favorite movie?
Either Life of Pi or Elf

Do you have any siblings?
I have three older brothers.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Cookies and cream!

How did you find out about L’Arche?
Through a friend.

Where are you from?
Overland Park, Kansas

What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas!

What are your hobbies?
I like soccer, running, and listening to music.

Do you have any pets?
We have a puppy at my parents’!

Chip

Chip works at the L’Arche St. Louis office on Mondays and Wednesdays. During his free time, he enjoys watching films, listening to music, and going for walks to the neighborhood coffee shop. He has been a member of the L’Arche community since 2012.
