Get to Know Emma!
Her mom is our Community Leader, and her dad has had a long career in L’Arche, but Emma has her own L’Arche story! She has been an Assistant at all three of our homes and is now living in at Sunrise House. Get to know her better in this interview from her housemate, Chip!
How long have you been involved with L’Arche?
I was baptized at the L’Arche Daybreak chapel! And I have been at L’Arche St. Louis for five years.
What is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Montreal, Canada
Did you have any jobs before L’Arche?
I have worked as a lifeguard and also taught swimming lessons to kids.
How many brothers and sisters do you have?
I am the oldest of four. My sister, Anna-Claire, is second oldest, then I have two younger brothers, Brendan and Timothy.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I like to listen to music, do yoga, spend time with my friends, and explore new restaurants.
What is your favorite color?
I like pink and green and blue!
Do you have any pets?
We used to have a dog named Willow. My sister has a dog named Bella.
What is your favorite meal?
Sushi
What about your favorite dessert?
Tiramisu
