John Carney of The Carney Show on The Big 550 KTRS invited local celebrity Martin Kilcoyne and his sister Paula to join him in the studio on December 15, 2022. John had never heard of L’Arche before, and Paula was happy to share all about our inclusive community, even if he did give her a hard time about being Martin’s sister!

Martin Kilcoyne has also had opportunities over his sister’s time in L’Arche in Canada, the US, and India to meet L’Arche members and visit their homes. He shared some of his impressions of L’Arche and what makes it both special and important: “Having gone to these homes, and you're a part of it, you really do let your guard down... There's just such a magic in the room, where everybody gets along and accepts each other, and it just such a godsend for families who have a kid who is getting older with a disability."
