Meet the New Director of Development

This week we welcomed Emma Pieper to our office as the new Director of Development. But when you join L'Arche St. Louis, the interviews don't stop once you're hired! Chip is graciously sharing the notes from his interview so that we can all get to know Emma. She is eager to meet more of our wonderful community as she helps L'Arche St. Louis grow and serve more people!

1. How did you get involved with L’Arche?
I heard that L’Arche was looking for a fundraising director!

2. Where are you from?
Chicago

3. How many people are in your family?
Nine total: my husband, two dogs, four cats, a turtle, and a horse!

4. Did you work at a job before coming to L’Arche?
I worked in the tech industry and in sales.

5. Do you have any favorite shows or movies?
The Princess Bride!

6. Have you been on any vacation/trips recently? Where to?
I went to the Panama Canal some time in January.

7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would go to Germany and Italy!

8. What is your favorite singing group?
Beyoncé

9. What is your favorite food?
All cheeses! Maybe a charcuterie…
