Get to Know our Board Treasurer!

Chip recently started interviewing members of the L’Arche St. Louis Board of Directors as part of his regular interview series. In this interview, he talked with Jim Branneky, a longtime member of the Board and Vice President of Consumer/Home Loans and CRA Officer at CNB Bank in Maplewood. Before the pandemic, Chip used to visit with Jim whenever he was helping Office Manager Amy C with bank business.
How long have you been a L’Arche St. Louis Board member?
It will be 10 years in September.
What do you do as Treasurer of the Board?
As the Treasurer, I am in charge of the Finance Committee. I work with Paula and Justin with keeping track of things like budgets, incomes, and money.

Saint Louis
Do you have any family in St. Louis?
My mom and my eight brothers and sisters.
What is your favorite trip you've taken?
Belgium with L'Arche
What are your hobbies?
Playing golf and gardening

Blue
What job did you want when you were a kid?
Baseball player
What is your favorite thing about L'Arche?
The people - core members, assistants, Board members - because everyone is friendly and nice to be around
